As the founder and principal accountant of Smith Accounting and Tax, I bring over a decade of experience in accounting and tax services, complemented by my CPA designation, which I earned in 2017. Becoming a CPA was an important milestone in my professional journey, solidifying my commitment to providing the highest level of service and expertise. This designation services as a testament to my technical knowledge, ethical standards, and dedication to the accounting profession.

Over the course of my career, I worked at small, mid-size, and national firms where I gained a solid foundation in accounting principles, tax laws, and financial strategies. Over the years, this experience has allowed me to develop a strong understanding of the challenges small businesses and individuals face when managing their finances.
My decision to establish Smith Accounting and Tax was driven by a desire to offer a more personalized, hands-on service to a smaller clientele. I wanted to create a firm where clients could feel supported, understood, and confident in the financial guidance they receive—without the formality or distance that can come with larger firms.
